Historic Engine Co Team

We are a small group comprising of.... Eric and Bryony O'Hara, Charlotte and more recently Jacob.

Eric has been engineering with vintage sports and racing cars for over 30 years.

Charlotte has grown up from the age of 7 working in and around a workshop full of vintage bikes, cars and aeroplanes. Having worked in a well known vintage racing engineering company she joined the Historic Engine Co a few years ago. Now mostly engaged with the engineering side of the restoration work. Although just as capable in any area of the business.

Charlotte is happy riding a BMW cafe racer, Honda Chopper or surfing out in the bay although most of her own and her husband Tom's time is now devoted to their two lovely children Oliver and Poppy.

Eric enjoys the same BMW cafe racer, sailing, motorcycle racing, motorsport and sim racing, surfing (trying to) and flying in vintage and classic aircraft.

Bryony works hard keeping all of the books together and helping to keep things running as smoothly as possible. She shares her time with working for Dorset Life magazine. When she manages to have some spare time she enjoys her garden, Knitting and needle work and long walks with Benji the crafty little Jack Russell / King Charles cross.

Recently Jacob has joined us, in between college commitments where he is studying marine engineering and engineering machine work. Jacob has a 1983 Volvo 340 with Minilite wheels and lowered suspension ... all helping during those illicit "Drift" sessions when no one is looking!
